Komotini Paper Mill was founded in 1979 and is the holder of the trade name Elina. It is a manufacturing and exporting enterprise located in the Industrial Area of Komotini, in North Eastern Greece. From this strategic location, it has been exporting since the mid-1980s to Turkey, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania among others. In 2007 it focused on producing tissue paper in semi-finished industrial rolls sold to tissue paper converters across Greece and the region. It produces 18,000 tons in two production lines.

Komotini Paper Mill has achieved water use to the minimum of the European BATs, it minimized greenhouse gas emissions and systematically reduces energy consumption as well as invests in renewable energy sources.
EXPORT ORIENTED With its strategic position in South Eastern Europe, near international rail networks and ports, Komotini Paper Mill operates with its own personnel and facilities throughout the broader Balkans and the Middle East. Up to 50% of its turnover is extrovert contributing positively to its cashflows and adding to its commercial flexibility.
CONTINUOUS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT With its core in papermaking Komotini Paper Mill implements business plans that enhance the sustainability of the group and create springboards of development and improvement. The company is involved in tourism, real estate and biomass trading.
